Red

Red symbolizes life, and i think these apples are a good example of it. Red is also the attention getter, and in the story of Adam and Eve, the red apple grabbed Eves attention and she couldnt resist...

"Yellow Wallpaper"

"I remember what kindly wink the knobs of our big, old bureau used to have, and there was one chair that always seemed like a strong friend. "

Green

This plant resembles growth; the single branch is extending by it self, even tho none of the other ones are.

White

White resembles purity and cleansiness, and i beleive there is nothing as pure and clean as the first snow fall. Its very appealing to the eye, and has somewhat of a calming effect.

Blue

I chose this picture to resemble the color blue for a couple reasons; it is said that the color blue makes you calm, and i think seeeing your pet does the same for a person. Also blue resembles loyalty, and a dog is usually very loyal to its owner.

Attract 2

I like this one because of the coloring. It looks really calm, and the shades on the tree trunk really stand out. It deffinitely keeps your eye on the entire image.

Repulsive2

i took this because mice are just repulsive creatures in general; but here they actually came out looking kind of cute. The picture doesnt make you cringe like people usually do at the sight of a rat.

Repulsive 1

i find this image extremely repulsive because of the coloring and just the way the pickles came out. The green coloring just looks unappetizing, and the pickles almost look alive.

Attraction1

I really like the coloring in this picture and the way the buildings came out. The image is very appealing to the eye, and the sky almost looks unrealistic.

Richard Misrach

Montage4(dead end)

The theme i tried to portray in this one is just because something is beautiful or appealing to the eye, it doesn't mean its the right thing.

Montage3(Artifical)

This one represents everything man-made in our world. It symbolises how we are closed in with this thought, and how we rely on it so much.

Montage2( Enjoy)

My theme in this one is things that i enjoy or things that make me happy. In the corner i have some Gossip Girl books because i LOVE that show. I also have a beach and the sun which are another two of my favorite things. Finally in the upper right hand corner i have a smile, which just symbolizes that all of these things make me happy.

Montage 1( Hold On)

In this one i focused more on the scenary then on the actual theme... The bird symbolizes freedom, the sun a bright future, and hands which are the focal point, symbolize the message- just hold on tight and everything will be alright.
